Our French lessons are one of the best in the market, according to Entrepreneur Magazine and Mashable. The lessons teach you everything from French conversation to grammar rules to sentence formation,
800+ love our lessons
Most French lovers are motivated learners, but they easily get discouraged by the following factors, and you probably faced the same at some point:
It takes hundreds of hours to become a fluent French speaker. Imagine having to pay a tutor $45 to $90 for each hour of private lessons.
Immersion trips are a very effective way to learn French, but they cost an arm and a leg and demand that you leave your home to stay in France for months.
Many people start with Duolingo and other gamification-based applications only to realize they have wasted their time. Duolingo is great for vocabulary memorization, not for speaking.
Imagine you acquire a load of vocabulary but can't even use it in a real-life conversation because you have no practice buddy.
Forget about memorizing words, and translating sentences. In French, context is everything, or your memorized vocabulary is useless.
We've designed our French lessons to be more about speaking than learning. When you choose our French language school, you get 2 private French classes with your tutor and one group class per week. On top of that, each course comes with ~50 video lessons and 100+ writing and speaking assignments you can use to build daily speaking habits.
We figured that achieving fluency in French requires consistency and time. That’s why we created our course to help you speak every day using our daily French video lessons. Each of these videos is designed to teach you one and only one specific thing. We do this to avoid information overload and confusion.
After each lesson, you'll take speaking and writing assignments that will help your learning advisor assess whether or not you've understood the lesson. Based on this, he or she will give you advice on how to improve.
Our online French lessons take place twice a week and focus on practice. Each course has a theme (at the bakery, in the supermarket, at work, etc.) and puts you in a real-life situation.
This prepares you to engage in conversations with native speakers without ever having to say "Oui Oui, baguette" because you don't know what they're saying. What's more, you get live feedback from your tutor when you make mistakes and discover the real context in which expressions are used.
Most people struggle with French because they don't have practice companions. Our learners don't. That's because once a week, you have the opportunity to debate and share your views with 5 other learners from around the world.
These online group French lessons aim to help you improve your debating and conversational skills, use logic, tell stories, defend your arguments, and so on. But they're also a way to build meaningful relationships with people from all over the world.
Our courses are effective and work well with your busy schedule. Hear it from our learners.
What I like the most about the program is that all my tutors are native speakers. They do help me not only understand the French language, but also the culture and the nuances of some words and expressions. And mostly, the live sessions are engaging and fun.

2x a week private lessons with your French tutor
1x a week group lesson with French learners from across the globe
Daily bite-size lessons that help you build French-speaking habits
I've tried learning French on my own before, but nothing compares to this program. The combination of video lessons, live tutoring sessions, and group practice made learning French enjoyable and effective.
What I like the most about the program is that all my tutors are native speakers. They do help me not only understand the French language, but also the culture and the nuances of some words and expressions. And mostly, the live sessions are engaging and fun.
As a busy mom and professional, learning French has been complicated for me. But since I started learning with Get French Classes, I have seen my French improve FAST. Through the lessons, I not only get to practice every day, but I also have more opportunities than before. I can practice with my advisor, private tutor, and other learners like me.
There are lots of reasons why French enthusiasts use our French courses to improve their French language skills. But here's a condensed version:
When you purchase one of our French courses, you get lifetime access to all the materials and lessons. Each course includes ~50 video lessons and ~100 assignments that will always be yours.
You'll also have access to online course recordings and class material that you can always refer to for learning purposes. And these can be accessed from anywhere, at any time.
It will be hard to find a French language school that can compete with Get French Classes in terms of value.
We're the only French language school where you get ~20 hours of online French classes, pre-recorded lessons, a learning consultant, and practice buddies for less than $400 a month.
With apps like Duolingo or even tutor marketplaces like Preply and Lingoda, it's hard to know exactly what the outcome will be. Most of the time, it's a badge for progress or jobs to be done, like "10 hours a month of group classes."
At Get French Classes, we have a course for each CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2), so right off the bat, when you sign up, you know the outcome will be "to hit a specific level." What's more, each class has a learning outcome that lets learners evaluate whether or not the session was worthwhile.
It's true that speaking is important. But so are writing, listening, and reading. In fact, the CEFR levels are built around 4 skills, not just speaking.
Get French Classes emphasize each of these skills almost equally. Within the courses, you will always do both written and oral assignments. And as you progress through the CEFR levels, we begin to emphasize reading and listening.
Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced French speaker, we have a course to help you improve. In fact, to avoid a one-size-fits-all approach, we've created mini-courses to cover each CEFR level.
So, instead of creating a course for level A1, we've created courses for beginners A1 (Grand Débutant), advanced A1 (Débutant), beginners B1, and so on. So you only pay for what you need, rather than paying for a generic French course.
You know something's working when your customers keep referring new customers to you. And that's exactly what's happening with Get French Classes.
Our customers appreciate our experienced tutors, our materials, and the teaching method we use. All these elements combined have helped thousands of people become fluent in French.
My tutor, Laurie, has been really helpful across my program. She was very patient and understanding. Since, I'm learning French for professional purposes, she also tries her best to adapt her teaching materials to my context, and that is very much helpful.

Once you've made your payment, someone from our team will be in touch to set you up. Next, you'll have online private lessons twice a week and one group class per week.
Outside of these live sessions, you'll be able to talk to your language buddies every day, so it's like total immersion. What's more, your learning advisor frequently corrects your mistakes, and as you learn to avoid them, your level of French improves rapidly.
Each program lasts 4 weeks, or exactly 1 month. If you're not sure what your French level is, we encourage you to take our placement test. Or reach out to us at [email protected] to discuss custom deals.
We'll assign you a learning advisor and one of our vetted French tutors, for each private session. For group sessions, we can form pods between you and your friends or with some of our French learners.
Are you even a proficient French speaker if you can't prove it through your skills and back your claim with a certificate from an accredited language institution? Get French Classes offers certificates to learners who pass our DELF and DALF exams .
At Get French Classes, our courses are packaged, which means that when you purchase a course, you get 2 private classes per week, 1 group class, 50 video lessons, and 120 spoken and written assignments (enough to make you practice for 10 minutes every day). On the other hand, with iTalki, Coucou French Classes and Lingoda, you have to purchase group and private classes separately. Plus, you don't get the daily assistance and french speaking habits you get with Get French Classes.
As a busy mom and professional, learning French has been complicated for me. But since I started learning with Get French Classes, I have seen my French improve FAST. Through the lessons, I not only get to practice every day, but I also have more opportunities than before. I can practice with my advisor, private tutor, and other learners like me.

Each of our online courses lasts 45 minutes, and group courses last between 1h30 minutes and 2 hours.
We've found that private language courses lasting an hour or more create confusion and information overload. That's why we keep our private lessons to 45 minutes per session, to keep you as engaged and active as possible.
What I like the most about the program is that all my tutors are native speakers. They do help me not only understand the French language, but also the culture and the nuances of some words and expressions. And mostly, the live sessions are engaging and fun.
